Your call
A calendar invite is on its way to your inbox. The meeting link is inside it. Give yourself 30 quiet minutes and Ian will take care of the rest.
What happens next
Three things, in order.
-
01
Check your inbox
The invite lands within a few minutes. If you cannot see it, look in spam or promotions and mark it as safe so the reminders reach you.
-
02
Accept the invite
Accepting puts the call in your calendar and holds the time. The meeting link sits inside the invite, so you do not need to keep this page.
-
03
Join at the booked time
Ian runs the call himself. No call centre, no assistant, no handover. Thirty minutes, straight to the point.
Before we speak
How to get the most out of it.
You do not need to prepare anything. But the calls that go best tend to have these three answers ready.
- What you are trying to do. A development site, an investment, or a home to live in.
- Where you are up to. Just looking, actively searching, or ready to move on the right one.
- What your finance looks like. A rough number is fine. Ian is not going to ask for documents.
If you are early and only exploring, say so on the call. Ian would rather tell you to wait than sell you something you are not ready for.
Who you're speaking with
Ian Chan.
Ian spent over 14 years in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, sitting across the table from hospital executives and senior clinicians making high stakes decisions. He learned early that trust is not given. It is earned through preparation, follow through, and never overpromising.
When he moved into property he did it the hard way. He personally bought multiple development properties, completed a development himself, and built relationships inside Brisbane's development community from the ground up. He has been on both sides of these transactions.
That experience is what Imperial is built on. Not a course. Not a franchise. The real thing.
In their words
What it is like to work with him.
Ian sees things other people miss. He picks up on details that matter, the ones that can change the outcome of a negotiation or save you from a decision you'd regret. I've never once had to wonder whether something had been overlooked.
There were moments in our deal where it could have fallen apart. Ian stayed persistent, stayed focused, and found a way through. He's very detail-oriented, and prudent with his decisions. That's not something you can teach, he's just built that way.
Ian is one of those rare people who makes you feel like you're his only client. He's straight with you, follows through on everything, and never makes you feel like you're being managed. You always know exactly where you stand.
Common questions
Answered before you ask.
What actually happens on the call?
Ian asks what you are trying to achieve, then tells you honestly whether Imperial can help. If there is a fit he will explain how the off-market process works. If there is not, he will say that too.
Is there any cost or obligation?
The call is free and there is no obligation. No hard sell. If you decide it is not for you, that is a perfectly normal outcome.
Do I need to be ready to buy right now?
No. Plenty of people speak with Ian months before they act. Knowing what is coming and being ready to move quickly is most of the advantage in off-market property.
What does "off-market" really mean?
It means access to development sites and homes before they are publicly listed. The best properties in Brisbane are often sold quietly through relationships, so they never reach a listing portal at all.
How do I reschedule or cancel?
Use the reschedule and cancel links at the bottom of your confirmation email. They work right up until the call starts. If something comes up, changing the time is far better than not showing.
Do I need to have my finance sorted first?
Not for this call. A rough sense of your budget is enough to have a useful conversation. Ian will not ask you for documents.
The invite has not arrived. What now?
Check spam and promotions first, and search your inbox for "Imperial". If it is still missing, reply to any email you have from Ian and he will send it again.
